SABA Meetings

SABA’s regular meeting are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm at the Belle Cooledge Community Center 5699 South Land Park Drive(on the southeast corner of Fruitridge Road and South Land Park) in Sacramento. (see map) Members are encouraged to attend and visitors are welcome!

Meeting Outline

6:30 to 7:00pm - Executive Board Meeting. Members are welcome to attend.

7:00 to 7:30pm - Members and visitors greet and meet. Refreshments. Members access to library.

7:30 to 7:40pm - Meeting called to order, introductions, recognition of visitor, any basic business.

7:40 to 8:30pm - Educational/informational program presentation. Content varies each month. (see below)

8:30 to 8:45pm - Break and refreshments. Library still open for access.

8:45 to 9:00pm - Meeting resumes with open question and answer period.

9:00 to 9:15pm - Business meeting; report to members of Executive Board actions, Treasurer's Report, approval of last month's meeting minutes, old business, new business and adjournment.

Obviously there will be some variation based on the nature of the program presented, the amount of business to be conducted and other factors that cannot be predicted. The one exception to the above is the December meeting which has traditionally been a social time and pot luck meal.
